Beginners Workout - What to Look for, and What to Avoid

As a young man, I can never forget my first experience in the gym. When I walked into the gym that first time, it absolutely blew my mind. All the fitness machines looked like torture devices, and I had no clue on where I should start.

Sometimes it can be down-right scary going to the gym if you’ve never been before, and it can be next to impossible to figure out where you should begin. A lot of people get books, training partners, or personal trainers to learn how they should be performing their workout routine.

Had I done some research on gyms and not been so gung-ho, I would’ve been better prepared and could have hit the ground running (no pun intended). Now that I have some experience, I know how important it is to get started on the right foot with a proper beginners workout.
