To Do List While on HCG Diet
August 28, 2009 Filed under Diet
People are always wondering what they’re able to “do” while they’re on the very low calorie, homeopathic HCG diet. The question pops up constantly. And for those who are well acquainted with the program it seems like a silly one, but because no question is silly we’ve gathered together a short list in answer to the questions, “What can I do while on HCG?”
1. Go to work. Most employers don’t offer paid time off to lose weight. You could ask, but we don’t encourage it. HCG dieters find that it’s easy to stick to the diet if you pack your lunch. Use the cookbook and package the meals in single servings that you can cart in to work.
2. Eat dinner together. If you normally eat dinner together as a family; don’t curtail the activity because you think you can’t eat what your family is eating. Take charge and prepare a healthy meal for all. It’s the perfect opportunity to get everyone eating healthy and that’s a good thing.
3. Get out and socialize. If the only reason you were hanging out with your friends was to eat then you’ve got a bit of a problem on your hands! Adjust your eating a bit by ordering salads and having the dressing brought out on the side (or not at all) and focus on the quality of the conversation!
4. Indulge your sweet tooth. Dieting almost always required limiting your intake of sweets. But there are definite “sweets” that are absolutely HCG diet approved. For instance, check out the warm cinnamon apple from the HCG Diet Direct cookbook. It’s delicious.
So…now that you’ve noted the sarcasm of the above to do list you’ll be able to come to the appropriate conclusion that there is not a limited number of approved activities just because there are a limited number of calories allowed on the HCG diet. You just need to stick to your guns when it comes to exactly what you eat and go about your daily life as if nothing is happening. (Although you’ll have to field all those difficult compliments as the weight drops off!)
