Review of Colovox Colon Cleanser

Colovox is a brand new colon cleansing product that’s just hit the market. I became aware of it because I was actually contacted by the company requesting that I do a review on Colovox. This was a first for me since most companies would shy away from an independent review. I was intrigued and curious as to what I would find. The results were quite positive. Read on to see what I found about Colovox during my review.
Colovox uses a two-part system to do the colon cleansing. The first product (Colovox) is used to clean out all of the buildup and waste in the colon. The second (Puravox) replenishes your organs with the nutrients that they need. This is a very common type of cleansing system.
The next thing that impressed me was the pricing of Colovox. Where most products comparable to Colovox are charging around $120, Colovox charges only $88. This kind of lower pricing is obviously a welcomed thing in the colon cleanse industry. $88 seems to be a very reasonable price for what you’re getting.
I also like that Colovox shows you all of the supplement facts on their products. With some colon cleansers, you’re lucky if they mention a few of the ingredients, but Colovox lists all of the ingredients. They have actually posted a shot of the nutritional label. Because we can see all of these ingredients, we can also see that they include almost 13 grams per serving. This is a large amount, which is good thing. Where other products seem to be skimping on the amounts, Colovox makes sure that you’re getting the amount that you’ll need for it to be effective.
When trying to find information about the company behind Colovox, it was obviously not as easy as others since it is such a new company. What I did find, however, was reassuring. Most comments that I found were positive and I found no complaints about scams, etc. The BBB has yet to have any data on them, but I’ll update my review on my site once I see something.
One thing that reflects positively on the company is their great guarantee. They have a 90 day money back guarantee, which is very good. 90 days should be plenty of time to judge the efficacy of the colon cleanser. This is especially good when you at autoship companies that give you a mere 14-15 days. In terms of marketing, I don’t see any red flags that would make me think Colovox is trying to scam you.
For those who are looking for a good colon cleanse product for a reasonable price, I recommend Colovox. So far they give me no reason to believe that they are using bad business practices. They have a good price point and the guarantee is really good.
Colovox Review

The makers of Colovox contacted me this week to have me do a review on their product. It’s a fairly new product that’s just hitting the market. I was surprised to see them contact me as I would think that most companies (that are trying to hide something) aren’t big fans of the types of reviews that I do. So to see a company open themselves up to review was reassuring. I still went into the review eyes wide open, but was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Colovox.
Like many colon cleansing products, Colovox contains a two-part system for cleansing the colon. It first cleanses the colon of all buildup and then provides the important nutrients that it needs after. This is a pretty standard (and good) way to go about cleansing the colon.
The first thing that impressed me was the price of Colovox, which is really quite reasonable. Colovox is priced at $88. I’ve seen similar products priced in the $120 range. Needless to say, this lower price is a welcomed thing for those looking for a good colon cleanser. And given the amount of ingredients in the product, you’re getting your money’s worth.
Colovox clearly lists all of the ingredient found in the product. This is very refreshing given that many of the colon cleansing products don’t show you the actual ingredients so you don’t what exactly your putting in your body. Colovox provides a shot of their label listing the amount of the blend as well. You’ll see that each serving has almost 13 grams of ingredients. If you’re unfamiliar with other products, this a large amount which is a good thing.
I always like to spend a considerable amount of time researching the company behind the product. In this case, being that the company is so new, its difficult to find a lot of information. Obviously, the Better Business Bureau doesn’t have any info on them yet. I’ll be sure to update the review on my website when I get more information. But from what I have seen about them on the internet (other review sites, etc.) people are liking the product and I haven’t seen any complaints about the company.
Colovox also has a fantastic money back guarantee of a full 90 days. Most companies in this industry have weak guarantees if they have one at all (the autoship scams, for example, only give you about 15 days). This good guarantee reflects positively on the company as a whole.
For those who are looking for a good colon cleanse product for a reasonable price, I recommend Colovox. So far they give me no reason to believe that they are using bad business practices. They have a good price point and the guarantee is really good.
Colon Cleanse Pro Review

Colon Cleanse Pro has seen an increase in popularity lately due to it being heavily marketed on the internet. This brief version of my full review will look into the company the makes Colon Cleanse Pro as well the product itself to help you see some things that many have otherwise been missed. I think you’ll be surprised by what you see.
When visiting their website you’ll quickly see a marketing tactic that’s often used to add credibility to the product but that’s quite deceiving. They’ve posted logos of the Oprah magazine, USA Today, MSNBC, and CBS News in an attempt you make you think that Colon Cleanse Pro was somehow mentioned on or endorsed by these programs. At first glance, that’s what it looks like, but if you read the quotes next to the logos, you’ll see that they mention the colon or colon cleansing in some form, but say nothing about the Colon Cleanse Product itself. Above the logos it says “Colon Cleanse in the Talk of Media.” Note, however that it does not say Colon Cleanse Pro (although they want you to assume that).
But does the product work as advertised? I don’t know. Since they don’t mention anywhere on the website what ingredients the product actually contains, it’s tough to know. I’m sure that fiber’s in there, but aside from that, it’s anyone’s guess. This is rather disturbing in that people are putting something into their body without even knowing what it is.
As if the review so far wasn’t bad enough, it’s about to get even uglier. When I looked into the company itself, I saw even more causes for concern. The first thing I notices was that their ‘privacy policy’ stated that they may sell the personal information that you give them to any third party. In short, your information is not safe with these guys.
A quick search with the Better Business Bureau provided some insightful information as well. The BBB gave Colon Cleanse Pro a big fat ‘F’ of a grade. And just like in high school, an F isn’t exactly what you want to see. Not only did they score poorly, but the BBB reportedly tried to meet with Colon Cleanse Pro “to discuss ways to correct the underlying cause of complaints.” They then said, “The company has failed to respond to our request.” I don’t know about you, but I don’t exactly feel comfortable purchasing something from this company.
Ok, now for the ‘Free Trial.’ As was suspected, if you read the fine print in the terms and conditions, when you accept your free trial, you are automatically enrolled in an autoship program (which might not be so bad if the consumer actually knew that they were doing it). Basically if you don’t call and cancel (more on that later) within 15 days you will be charged $69.98 for the product plus shipping. Thereafter they will send you another supply each month and keep charging your credit card. Unfortunately, there will be many (probably most) who don’t read the fine print and are surprised when they start seeing these large charges on their account.
There are many complaints filed on the internet of people not being able to get a hold of the company to cancel or to dispute the charges (that they didn’t know would occur). Well, in order to see for myself, I called the customer service number. Surprise! No one answered the phone. So it appears that some of the complaints are true; it may be difficult to cancel your autoship program. Also, they charge a 15% restocking fee on all returned items.
In conclusion, Colon Cleanse Pro has scam written all over it. Aside from the fact that we don’t know what’s in the product, they use shady marketing tactics. It looks to me like they plan on you not reading the terms, getting you your trial and then racking up the charges on your credit card. Consider yourself warned. Do your homework and don’t fall prey to tactics like the ones that Colon Cleanse Pro uses.
Review of Colotox

Since Colotox seems to becoming more popular (or at least it has been more heavily marketed lately) I figured it was time for me to do a review. The results were less than stellar for Colotox as you’ll soon find out. The product seems ok, but where it gets really ugly is when I looked into the company behind Colotox.
In terms of ingredients, Colotox is a pretty run of the mill product. It has the regular colon cleansing (fiber based) ingredients that many others have. I don’t why one couldn’t expect the product to function as it’s supposed to. So the product itself seems fine, it’s the business practices that have me worried.
Where the review started to go downhill is when I saw the first signs of a sneaky autoship program. If you sign up for the free trial (which is the only option they give you if you want the product) then you are automatically enrolled in the autoship. This means that you have 14 days to call and cancel the program or you will start being charged $38.95 per month as new product is shipped to you every month. What? You didn’t notice that you agreed to that? Well it’s in the fine print of the terms and conditions that they’re counting on you not reading. I’ve seen this scam many times now and am amazed at how pitiful of a marketing tactic this is. Shame on Colotox.
In addition to having a shady autoship program, if you are able to ever return your product (more on that later) they charge you a 15% restocking fee. It’s already not looking good for Colotox. They have definitely created their policies to be favorable to one and only one person…themselves.
I always like to check with the Better Business Bureau to get a general picture of the overall business practices of the company. Not surprisingly, the BBB gave the company behind Coltox (Central Coast Nutraceuticals Inc.) an ‘F’ rating. You may also be interested to know that there is a complaint filed with the Arizona Attorney General’s office regarding deceptive sales practices. Ouch.
By now, I don’t think that it’s any mystery what my overall thoughts are concerning Colotox. The ingredient profile may be ok, but their business practices certainly are not. If you’re looking at buying a colon cleanser, you’d be wise to steer clear of Colotox; there are plenty of other reputable companies to buy from.
Dr. Natura Review - Colonix
March 1, 2009 by Peter Wood

Colonix (by Dr. Natura) has been around for years. It is a very well known colon cleanser that has a solid track record and whose users appear to quite pleased with their results. How does Colonix stand up against the competition? This brief version of my complete Colonix review will help you decide if Colonix may be te right colon clease product for you.
As far as ingredients go, the Colonix products looks as though it should perform just fine. It has a 3 step process that includes a high fiber complex, a paranil herb complex, and kleritea complex. While there maybe isn’t much that totally differentiates this product from some others, it’s likely to be an effective product.
As always, when I review products, I look at the company that is producting it. Do they engage in unethical practices? Have they had legal problems? etc. So how does Dr. Natura stand? Pretty good. They have been around for much, much longer than most other colon cleanse companies (most of which are out to make a quick buck). I was unable to find any large complaint issues with BBB or anywhere else on the internet. Their customers service is good and they appear to have a great track record over the past decade.
Another item worth mentioning is Dr. Natura’s guarantee. They have 60-day money back guarantee. This is better than most products in this industry that don’t provide a guarantee at all. On top of that, they allow you to return both opened and unopened bottles (another thing that isn’t seen too often).
You’ll notice on the Colonix website that there are testimonials everywhere. You may also see a button that says ‘Verified 100% Authentic Testimonials.’ I don’t usually pay much attention to testimonials because they are made up so easily, but this intrigued me so I called Dr. Natura so ask about how these testimonials were verified authentic. You can hear my converstation with them on my website.
Colonix is priced at $88 for a one month supply. To be frank, this is a little expensive for a colon cleanse product. They’re likely able to charge higher amounts because people see them as the authority in the colon cleanse industry. Is this too much? Ultimately it’s up your call.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a quality colon cleanse product from a company with a good track record, Colonix may be a good option for you. The price is high, but they provide a pretty good guarantee. The company has been around a long time and, assuming the testimonials are real, the past customers seems very happy with the product and company.
Colotox Review
March 1, 2009 by Peter Wood
Today I decided to review Colotox because it seems to be gaining in popularity as well as having a seemingly higher advertising budget. It first glance, it looks like many other colon cleansing product, but when I started to look deeper into the company behind the product, I started to see some red flags. This brief version of my full Colotox review will hopefully give you some insight into what one can expect when purchasing from Colotox.
Colotox, as a product, appears to be your average colon cleanser. Naturally it includes quite a few fiber-based ingredients and some others. I imagine that the product is no better than other alternatives out there, but the ingredients do look ok.
It was even more alerted when I saw their return policy. It appears that you are charged a 15% restocking fee for all returned items. And according to some of the complaint boards on the internet, there have been quite a few that have had a hard time even contacting the company to request a refund.
Now, it wasn’t easy but after a lot of searching I was able to find the company behind Colotox: Central Coast Nutraceuticals Inc. To make a long story short, the Better Business Bureau gave them an ‘F’ rating. And aparently for good reason. I also found a complaint filed against them through the Arizona Attorney General’s office for using deceptive and misleading sales practices. Needless to say, it’s not looking good for Colotox.
Reviews of Colon Cleansers - Dr Floras
February 26, 2009 by Jesse M
The colon cleansing products from Dr. Flora’s have become increasingly popular over the last little bit. The time had come to do a review on Dr. Flora’s. This brief version of my complete review will show that I quickly became impressed by Dr. Flora’s as a company as well as the products that they produce.
Dr. Flora’s website quickly left a good first impression. Many sites in this industry have a simple, one-page website that provides little more than the name of the product, a few empty promises, and an option to buy. Dr. Flora’s on the other hand provided a good amounts of information on the products themselves. They also had quite a bit of general colon cleansing information that seemed very useful.
As far as the products go, Dr. Flora’s provides a pretty good assortment of colon cleansing products to help you get the results that you need. Their main product is Dr. Flora’s Colon Cleanse and goes for $57. Other products that they offer include Cleanse Support, Probiotics, Parasite Defense, and Bowel Regulator with prices ranging from $27 to $37. There is an Ultimate Kit that costs $157 which gives a combination of most of these products.
I wanted to get a taste for their customer service so I called pretending to be an irate customer who’s order had been lost. After waiting on hold for a bit, I was treated very politely even though I wasn’t being very easy. She handled it very professionally. I was impressed. Thumbs up goes to their customer service!
Now where I really got impressed was when I came across their money back guarantee. Most companies in this industry don’t have a guarantee at all and if they do it’s a mediocre one at best (30 to 60 days). So you can imagine my surprise to find out that they have a full one-year money back guarantee! Not only that, but you can return one empty bottle, where other companies only allow you to return unopened bottles. Nice job Dr. Flora’s.
A quick search with the Better Business Bureau provides more welcomed good news. Dr. Flora’s had only 2 complaints in the last 3 years! To give you an idea of how good this is, most upstanding companies have at least a few hundred complaints. And that’s for a good company. So Dr. Floras passes this test with flying colors.
When searching for information about colon cleanse products, you’ll invariably come across sites that have unfavorable reviews (this is not a bad thing). It’s important to know, however, that there are many sites out there that only put down certain products in order to push theirs. All I am saying is that you should take caution in where you get your information from and realize that it all may not be unbiased.
After having reviewed Dr. Flora’s colon cleanse, I’m rather impressed. Not only does their product seem to be effective, but it looks to be a very upstanding company. The BBB report was very favorable, the product is reasonably priced and their guarantee is the best that I’ve seen so far. If you’re looking for a colon cleansing product, I highly recommend Dr. Flora’s.
Reviews of Colon Cleansers - Dual Action Cleanse
February 24, 2009 by Jesse M

This Dual Action Cleanse review will at the ingredients briefly and then focus more specifically on the company that produces Dual Action Cleanse. While this brief review summarizes my in-depth review of Dual Action Cleanse, it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect when purchasing from Dual Action Cleanse.
Dual Action Cleanse has a typical (but good) ingredient profile containing mostly fiber with some other ingredients to aid in the digestive system. One thing that’s worthy of noting is that there is a long list of ingredients that has to fit into their proprietary blend of 572 mg. This isn’t a huge red flag, but it is possible that they are trying to spread too many different ingredients accross the 572 mg. Having said that, this isn’t to say that the product will certaintly not work.
The pricing for Dual Action Cleanse a little on the higher end of the spectrum for colon cleanse products. Packages range from $59.90 to $129.80. This is not to say that it’s a ripoff by any means. Just a little (not much) higher than others I’ve seen.
Through my research about the company behind Dual Action Cleanse, I actually found some reassuring informtion (doesn’t happen too often). The Better Business Bureau gave it a ‘B+’ rating which is actually pretty good. Dual Action Cleanse had 0 unanswered complaints (as opposed to other’s we’ve seen with as many as 2,500 unanswered complaints). On top of that, Dual Action Cleanse is accredited with the BBB which we don’t see very much in this industry.
It’s important to realize that Dual Action Cleanse does have an autoship program. But the way in which they do it is different from many of the scams on the market. Others hide the details of the autoship in terms and conditions hoping that consumers don’t read it and accept their free trial. Dual Action Cleanse is at least a bit better than this in that they alert the customer of the autoship in a more open way. They also give the customer the choice to use the autoship or not to use the autoship.
In conclusion, I’m fairly impressed with the company behind Dual Action Cleanse. The product seems pretty good and I don’t see many of the shady sales tactics used by many other companies. As far as the autoship goes, I lay the responsibility on the consumer in this case since Dual Action Cleanse gives you the option not to do the autoship and does fairly well as alerting you of it.
