1. Drink water. Our bodies are naturally about 70% water. If the body is lacking a sufficient amount of water, it will try to do whatever it takes to hold what water it does have. Drinking more water is the way to do away with that excess water.
2. Laughing is essential. Gaining weight can easily lead to sadness, which ultimately leads to losing our sense of humor; not to mention getting upset easily. Researchers have done studies showing that people, who laugh a little, lose weight easier than those that don’t laugh.
3. Don’t work out solo. Many studies show that you will more than likely follow through with your work out goals, if you have someone else working out with you. Be sure to find a friend, or someone who is serious about following the workout plan and reaching goals for weight-loss.
4. Consider trying a diet program. Trends indicate that individuals are not only purchasing diet plans like Medifast.com for themselves, but more and more couples are joining one another on a quest to loose weight. These programs provide foods are nutritionally balanced, clinically proven, and delivered to your door.
5. Have more SEX. Need I say more? Ladies if you want a workout plan your husband is sure to support you in, give this a try.
6. Visit the shopping mall. Walking has proven to be the easiest, most affordable and convenient form of exercise for all ages. But why walk in the heat or the cold. Take a day trip to your nearest shopping mall and stroll through all the stores you’ve avoided while in a holiday rush.
7. Don’t quit until you win. There is only one way to eat an elephant and that is one bite at a time. Take these small steps toward a new and improved you for the New Year.

Right now, its very unlikely that the 44th President of the United States is thinking of dishing out weight loss advice to the nation! He has, perhaps more than any other President, got more on his mind that the weight of the nation…or should he?
The health of the nation covers many things. The nations financial health will be his top priority. The current Band Aid will have to be removed and some more drastic surgery performed before that aspect of the nations health is restored to anything near normal.
There are more people who are either overweight or obese than ever before. This is having a tremendous effect on how the nation performs. Far too many people are unable to give of their best because of their physical condition.
Its a sad fact that in terms of personal health, the nation has let itself down and has been let down. Too many people are unable to operate to their optimum. The likelihood of them contracting a serious weight related disease in their lifetime has never been higher.
What we should all be doing is taking our lead from the new President. Here is a man who keeps himself fit, who exercises every day and eats to stay in good shape. If he can do it, why cant the rest of us? If we admire him so much, shouldnt we be following his example?
Does he have any big secret that hes not letting on? Not really, except he is very self-aware and he is very self-disciplined. These qualities are not exclusive to him, they are available to us all.
The other thing that he has done is to remain as self-aware as possible and not let bad habits take over his life. No secret in this either except that it takes effort and commitment.
The real secret to being as healthy and fit as our new President is to lean new habits. If youre trying to lose weight, and you want permanent weight loss and a diet free life, the secret is to learn new habits, slim habits. Only then will you be able to change and operate at you best ” not only for your benefit, but for the benefit of everybody else too.
