Jogging is practiced by a lot of people. It helps keep your body in shape, and is considered a fun activity. Getting Fit After Having A Baby

When I gave birth to my first kid, I was blown away by how pretty she was. Nevertheless, after looking at myself in a mirror I was not so happy. My stomach was stretched out and sagging. I had no tone in my abdominal muscles. By far the worst thing though was the food I ate while I was pregnant stayed on my thighs and hips. I knew that if I did not get motivated to be fit right away I would hate my appearance at my daughters first birthday.
I had read a lot about how post natal fitness was important. It offered so many benefits to new mums. It helped drop leftover weight from pregnancy, built strength and increased energy levels. It also was known to help ward off postpartum depression.
My original purpose in breastfeeding my daughter was for her health but then I soon learned it could help me too. I started to eat better when I knew my daughter was getting her daily nutrition from me. It also helped me burn off a lot of unwanted calories. Between the diet, the breastfeeding, and the better diet, I started to lose a few pounds.
Since a lot of my body’s fluid was passing out through breast milk, I upped my water intake. It gave my weight loss a little bit of a boost. However, I knew I needed something more to increase my weight loss and help get my hips and thighs back into shape. Since the doctor hadn’t cleared me for full exercise, I decided to start with a low impact workout such as walking. Regular pushchairs really aren’t made for faster speeds than walking so I started looking around for a jogging stroller.
After browsing my options, I finally found the right baby jogger pushchair I liked. Now that I had my stroller, I started taking my daughter to the lake nearby so we could walk the track the encompassed it. It gave us a chance to breathe some fresh air, and gave me an opportunity to get my pre-pregnancy body back.
As soon as my doctor permitted me to do regular workouts, I picked up the pace. I was scared at first that the stroller would be to bumpy when jogging. Instead, the smooth ride gave us both a good time.
It was soon after this I began to notice other moms doing the same thing with their children. Apparently, I was not the only mother who had the idea of jogging with a pushchair. It worked out great for everyone though, the babies enjoyed their ride, while the mothers worked out and talked about each other’s similar experiences.
Once the pounds started slipping away, I added in some strength-training to help tone up. It wasn’t long until the flabbiness disappeared and my stomach began to get taut again. Today I look better than I did before pregnancy.
Of all the fitness related products I have purchased throughout the years, I would say that the jogging stroller is my favorite. No other product can allow you to have a great work out and spend time with your child simultaneously and comfortably. Even now that she is a little bit older, we still go to the track near the lake and jog around in her stroller.

In turn, an unhealthy diet and troubled sleeping schedule can lead to as far as obesity and ultimately other disorders such as sleep apnea. It is been studied that sleeping and weight have much to do more with each other than we originally thought.
Sleep apnea is a disorder that is caused mostly by obesity and if not treated can lead to more serious health issues, such has heart disease. Sleep apnea is also what causes a person to snore can lead to emotional issues with their partner. Sleep apnea deprives someone of a full rest and if you suffer from sleep apnea it may be the reason you feel tired even if you get the full recommended amount of sleep.
It is recommended to get at least 7 hours and up to 9 hours of sleep each day. You cannot make up for lost sleep. For example, if you were to get 2 hours of sleep tonight, you cannot tell yourself you’ll get 12 hours of sleep the next to make up for the 2 hour night. As you get elderly regular exercise becomes much more important. Muscle wastage will occur as we get older because our metabolism slows down. In other words we consume fewer calories. This means that even if we don’t eat any more gradual weight gain is unavoidable and we start to pile on the extra pounds.
This creeping weight increase is slow, but relentless. Just half a pound here, half a pound there. You put it on at Christmas ” it doesn’t go away like it used to! Vacations add a little more, and before you know it, you’re 7lb overweight and your favorite clothes don’t fit any longer. Now how did that happen?
You decide enough is enough and start an workout program. As part of your program you start running or jogging. At first you don’t have a problem but after a couple of months the front of your shins become painful. Chances are you have Shin Splints.
I always thought that only horses got splints. Work a young horse too much on hard ground, and you were asking for him to get one ” making him lame for months, sometimes. Well, humans aren’t so different!
I like to use jogging as my main way of keeping in reasonable shape. But I was discovering that, after only a short time, my shins would start to ache, down at the bottom of my leg. At first I thought I was just a bit stiff, and it would go off as I warmed up more.
It didn’t. The pain got worse and worse, until I was close to tears. I kept stopping and rubbing my shins, but it didn’t help, and I eventually had to give up and hobble home ” fed up to the back teeth and as bad-tempered as a weasel. When I rested for a day or two, the pain went, but it came back as soon as I tried again.
