Thre is not much to learn from this. Thse of us who are overweight know very well that we definitely need to lose a few pounds so that we will look slimmer and feel better. Hips that will be slimmer will give us the trim look and give us the encouragement to task of loing the fat from the saddle bags we have had to carry around all day.
The flabby saddle bags are not alone in all this fat ridden location. THe result of too many sessions of feasting on cakes and cookies not leaving out those hamburgers and fries, and the buns too. The end result of the all the pigging out was the flabby thighs and the grand rear end.
Well the time has come to say bye bye and good riddance to the loss of fat. A survey of the web will result in finding a suitable weight loss program. The plan will be able to prove that weight loss is assured especially the flabby thighs, hips and other parts we have grown used to with the past history of over indulgence.
The slim fitting jeans and that clingy skirt that we so yearn to wear again could be well realized as we swing through the next social gathering with admiring looks and not forgetting those furtive looks from those who enjoyed the lack of competition from the fat old me. Those packed away dresses, the slim pants even the cycle leathers that are not the in look, without the trim form that wears them. We will have keep a firm grip on our fat loss goals if we are to model that lean look body to be proud of.
It is going to take all the willpower you can muster on your part in this endeavor. Whether you were a yo yo dieter in the past you will know there is nothing to be gained by laying back and being a lay about. i is your tenacity that will make it happen. You will have to be sure that you have a strong support group to give that extra care that you reach your goals.
We know the saying, “a minute in your mouth and forever on your hips!” Not this time. WE are going to disprove this. There is no forever in you vocabulary where is fat is concerned. We will bid farewell to the unwanted chunky fat and not give it another thought. This it for you. Do it for you and enjoy every minute of it.

A Plan to Help Overweight Kids Get Fit

During the previous years, families were not that bothered about childhood obesity. In fact, some even ignored it and didn’t really consider it much of a problem. After all, most people would look at a chubby boy or girl and go, “Oh how cute and cuddly!”
The rise in cases of childhood obesity is alarming many people. Kids as young as 13 are now classified as obese, which can cause many problems both physical and emotional. Diabetes and high blood pressure are only a few of the serious medical problems brought on by being overweight.
What Can Be Done About It
Exercise is important to helping your child lose weight. Devising an exercise routine, especially for the younger kids, is really quite easy. The keyword is fun. As long as the activities are fun, there shouldn’t be any problems motivating your child to get moving.
You might like the fact that your workouts are planned from beginning to end, but this method doesn’t work very well for kids. Instead, try more spontaneous activities like playing catch, visiting the park, or skateboarding. Turn off the television and get them moving.
In addition to making sure you child is staying mobile, you will also want to keep an eye on what he’s eating. Focus on helping him make healthy food choices, and don’t forget that he is heavily influenced by the things that you do. If you aren’t eating healthy, neither will he.
The laws of healthy eating are simple. Processed, sugary, and salty foods are not allowed. Soda isn’t permitted either, and if you find yourself or your child drinking it on a regular basis, think about banning it completely.
You might be giving up a lot of your favorite foods, but eating healthy can be just as tasty. Read labels and find out the nutritional value of other foods at the grocery store. You may be surprised at how many delectable foods are also good for you.
Cooking healthy food for your kid is the first step in establishing good eating habits, but don’t make her eat if she doesn’t want to. Kids are notoriously picky, especially about food they’ve never tried before. So give her time to try new foods and don’t scold her if she doesn’t eat. Instead, praise her for being so open-minded and reward her for trying something new. Likewise, always give positive reinforcement with non-food rewards like allowing her to stay up an hour later than usual.
It is also helpful to sit down with your physician to discuss other options available to you. Your doctor can help you map out a plan to keep your children in shape. You can also join support groups as it helps to surround yourself with people who are going through the same thing you are.
Whatever fitness scheme you devise for your children, remember that it is always best to do things together. Fitness is a commitment that every single family member should be involved in. Be a good role model, give your kids lots of love and support and they should be on their way to a healthy lifestyle in no time.
Losing Weight can Save Your life

You have heard of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and heart conditions. Research has proven that they are highly caused by lifestyle choices which led to the coining of the term lifestyle diseases. Another lifestyle disease that rampantly affects many people is obesity and overweight.
People with weight problems do not see the threat this condition poses to their health, they ignore the problem as they have not experienced any disease. But the reality is that underneath it all, vital organs and functions in the body are suffocating and only start showing with diagnosis of conditions such as diabetes. This should serve as a warning bell to any person with weight problems as the next disease to manifest in your body is either in form of a heart condition or high blood pressure.
Research has shown a direct correlation between excess weight and a rise in cases of high blood pressure in patients. It has also been shown that the heavier the person gets, the more dangerous the condition is. The situation is made even worse as the body is compounded with other diseases and the results can be fatal. The need to lose weight as early as the signs start manifesting in your body cannot be emphasized enough.
When the body takes in calories from any food type, there are only two options; the calories are either stored or burned. In obese cases due to sedentary nature of the body, the calories are stored up as fats which lead to gain in weight. These unhealthy fats are stored up around the mid section of the body as well as the cardiovascular region where they are deposited on heart muscles and in blood vessels.
But there is hope as there is solid evidence that this can be reversed with concerted effort on the part of the patient. Seek to keep from gaining unnecessary weight; if you are already suffering from being overweight then professionally guided weight loss programs can be used.
With such grim accounts on how weight can adversely affect your health and even cause death, then losing weight should not be an option. Keeping the weight on is a slow but sure way to death.
Remember that it’s possible to lose weight; focusing on health benefits works as a good motivator to keep you working on your weight loss program.
How Important Are Calories To Weight Loss Programs?

Consuming a huge amount of calories on a daily basis can be one of the causes of your overweight condition. How can you possibly lose weight when you are taking in far more calories on a daily basis than what you are burning off with activity.
Don’t get all worried, I’m not suggesting that you need to count calories and get out that little food weight scale to measure everything you eat in ounces. That’s the last thing I would want to do as well.
However there is a real difference between counting calories and knowing the calorie counts for the foods you are eating. Not being aware of what you are eating and the amount of calories you consume on a daily basis, is just asking for trouble. Most of us are overweight because we had no idea of the extremely high calorie intake we were consuming each day. Not being aware of the calories in the foods we eat each day is like setting ourselves up for failure no matter what weight loss plan we are following.
A lot of people have absolutely no idea what type of foods they should be eating to lose weight and how many calories they should have each day to be able to lose weight. Different food groups have different calories, with fruits and vegetables being in the lower calorie food group.
When you learn that fruits and vegetables are much better for you it will be easy for you to plan nutritious meals. I for one would always choose the pizza over a balanced meal anytime. My choices were obviously all wrong, because I spent many years of my life being overweight.
Being aware of calories, is a big deal, if you want to lose weight you have to take in less calories than what you normally do. I know for myself I would rather have a banana split than a flavored yogurt for dessert, but just look at the difference in calories. I could have had 2 nutritious meals for the same amount of calories I ate in the banana split.
I understand what you are going through, not long ago I would choose spaghetti and meatballs over a balanced meal of meat, vegetables potato and salad. Now I prefer the balanced meals and rewarding myself. Being 30 pounds lighter has really inspired me to succeed in reaching my goal weight.
I have never had to deprive myself of eating anything during my weight loss program Eating sensibly has worked wonders for me.
Morbid Obesity

Currently the United States faces a serious problem with Morbid obesity. Morbid obesity can lead to an array of health problems even more serious than obesity itself. If Morbid obesity is left untreated, serious complications to ones health can occur.
Morbidy obese persons can greatly reduce further complications by eating healthier and practicing portion control. Making healty decisions can help with morbid obesity in many ways. A food diary is a good way of assesing the portions a person is consuming as well as the kind of food they are choosing to eat.
After keeping a food journal for a couple weeks you can take a look at it and figure out the foods you are eating that are bad. Also you can asses how often you are overeating. Food journals are a great way of making a person aware of what is really going into thier body.
If you are morbidly obese it is important to break up your meals and speed up your metabolism. By eating small meals about 5-6 times a day a persons metabolism will speed up, helping with weight loss.
Exercise is a very important part of weight loss for morbidly obese persons. Exercise plays a huge role in reducing health risks and improving ones health. It is important that morbidly obese individuals do not loose too much weight to quickly, but rather at a a safe healthy rate.
A healhty diet and exercise is the best way to reduce risks associated with morbid obesity. HOwever, for some people diet and exercise alone dont work. In these cases patients are put on medication to help reduce short term risks. Also some patients may even have surgery. Having surgery will help reduce a persons weight, however they must maintain the weight loss after the surgery or they can put the weight back on.
Morbid obesity rates among children have increased as well raising great concern. It is important to educate children on healthy eating habits and physical activity in order to prevent a future generation of morbidly obese adults.
Morbid obesity can lead to many serious problems and should be treated like any other disease. People who are morbidy obese should get help and make the changes they need to get healthy and reduce thier health risks.
Can Alcohol Wreck my Weight Loss Plans?

In addition to the great responses I’ve received regarding the Weight Loss Breeze Program, many have inquired about how alcohol plays into the ability or inability to lose weight.
Many diets include an overall reduction in calories. Alcohol though, can work against weight loss for a number of reasons.
The element of “empty calories” factors in. Alcohol has about 7 calories per gram or about 100 calories in a small wine glass and 200 calories per beer. This does not include the sugars from other added drinks such as soda or mixers.
Replacing other calories with those in alcohol is often attempted. Long term however, this does not tend to be a success.
The metabolism is slowed with alcohol in addition to the added calories. Calories from alcohol are not burned nearly as quickly as the same amount of calories as say a bran muffin.
The ability to burn fat is reduced when introducing alcohol. Both fat and alcohol are processed by the liver. If the liver is processing alcohol, it is not able to burn fat effectively.
Alcohol also acts as a depressent. People tend to be less motivated and more fatigued after consuming alcohol. Have you ever planned a work out, but decided otherwise as a result of drinking the night before?
Alcohol also increases the appetite especially for foods that have more calories and sugar.
This is not to suggest some people don’t end up losing weight while drinking (including alcoholics.) But, the other health effects of continuing to replace good nutritional foods with alcohol are of course overwhelmingly negative.
Alcohol abuse leads to major organ damage and can also include cirrhosis, hypertension, malnutrition and anemia.
I strongly recommended my Weight Loss Breeze Program if your goal is to lose weight. It is all natural and includes no drugs.
Enjoy,

Calories Can Really Make a Difference to Any Weight Loss Plan

I bet your thinking, oh no, here we go again another diet where I have to count calories. I hate counting calories, just about as much as I hate weighing all my food portions.
Reducing calorie consumption is key to losing weight and the quickest way to do that is to become more aware of the calorie counts in the foods that you choose to eat each day. Counting calories and weighing food is really not a lot of fun, neither is being overweight.
However the difference between having to count calories and just being aware of your calorie counts, is doable and can easily be accomplished.
Educating yourself on the different food groups and getting to know the calories that are in each food group, will help you to keep within your daily calorie limit in order to lose weight.
If you really hate counting calories and weighing food portions, then make a real effort to have smaller portions of food every time you eat, no matter what it is you eat. Choose items first from a nutritional food guide, and then if you have to treat yourself, make it a reward that you would get once a week only if you have made a real effort to cut down and lose weight.
Now with minimal effort I eat balanced nutritious meals and reward myself with pizza and treats once a week. Pounds just seem to melt off me now and that’s making me very happy.
Learning to eat sensibly doesn’t have to mean that you are deprived of anything. It simply means making better food choices for your body and when you find yourself not being able to make a healthy choice calorie wise, you will need to adjust your diet the next day few days to compensate for it.
It’s not really that hard to do once you get used to recognizing the amount of calories in your food selections. Adjust your calories to the amount of weight you want to lose and how quickly you want to lose it.
Lose Weight with Stress Management Hypnosis

Learn how:
Step #1 in my Weight Loss Hypnosis book is to Stress Less. Notice that this has NOTHING to do with eating. It has to do with calming your mind and centering your emotions so that when you do eat it is because you are hungry and not because you feel like everythings spinning out of control.
People tend to reach for food as a coping mechanism and believe it destresses them and they take quick comfort in carbs instead of refocusing on themselves.
If you can learn to refocus yourself, you’ll be able to quickly gain control of your eating, your weight, and your health.
Using videos to learn how to accomplish things, is one of the best things that the internet has done for us. In the next video you’ll see the impact of self-hypnosis in life.
Check out this quick video I just made that explains how you can lose weight by using self hypnosis for stress management:

European Fitness and Well Being

What we view in our everyday world, we come to view as normal. Take on a new perspective and all that changes. This is why travel used to be considered an essential part of education.
Last week I was performing my hypnosis show on a cruise ship in Europe. It has been awesome (honestly, I can hardly believe I get paid to do this stuff!). Ive seen many wonders of the ancient world (the Colosseum in Rome, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the ruins of Pompeii). And everywhere I go there is scrumptuous local food to sample (gelato in Monaco, grilled octopus in Greece, Pizza in Naples). And everything tastes different than it does in America.
Even the familiar foods taste different. Pizza tastes different, The crusts are thinner and the sauces less sweet. There are no fast food restaurants that I have seen. Instead they have little shops open to the street that have freshly prepared sandwiches and baguettes behind glass. Not burgers and fries. In general, the foods are served in smaller portions, are less sugary, and are more commonly made from locally grown ingredients. They are NOT of full of additives and preservatives and chemicals. They are simple, fresh, and local. Perhaps its no small coincidence that I have seen very few overweight Europeans in these areas.
Plus, the fact that they get outside and walk more has something to do with this as well. You dont see everyone staring at TVs or laptop screens or plugged into cell phones and iPods. They really are walking around and talking with one another. But I digress.
Many places Ive been to in the world have a leaner, fitter population than the United States. I notice this every time Im in Australia and New Zealand too. I think were slowly killing ourselves in the States with the foods we eat and the lifestyles we lead. Personally Id rather pay a bit more for my food and only eat fresh food than consume all the chemicals that most of our prepackaged foods now contain.
One hundred twenty million Americans are now considered obese (according to the governments own statistics). Thats a third of our population. Many of these people will develop other disease as a result of this condition, like diabetes, heart disease, and certain kinds of cancer. This is not the case in Europe and most of the rest of the world. Were doing this to ourselves. Its time to stop this madness and do something about it.
* Dont eat something just because its cheap or its fast or its convenient.
* Dont eat food just because its on your plate and you feel obligated to finish it.
* Eat food because your body needs it to replenish itself and restore its energy.
* Reconnect with your mind with your body.
* Feel what its like to feel really satisfied after a meal instead of stuffed full.
* Know what a real tomato tastes like.
* Take back your life.
What you see around you isnt normal, its the sad result of the disconnection of our minds from our bodies and our bodies from the land on which we live. Weve been trained to think that following diets and counting calories are the roadmaps to fitness and good health. Its much simpler than that.
If you’d visit the Greek Isles or Cote dAzur in France and youd see that you can be absolutely perfectly satisfied with a freshly baked baguette, some olive oil, herbs, and tomatoes picked from from the garden out back, with perhaps a a small bit of protein and a single glass of red wine. Consume slowly with a beautiful companion and enjoy while overlooking the sea on a sun drenched afternoon.
No rules. Just life as it was meant to be lived. Simple, satisfying, and free.

Get Organized - How To Lose Weight Fast
February 14, 2009 by Belinda Gable
While it may not have occurred to many people, leading a disorganized life can and does often result in one being overweight. The majority who lack organization in their daily lives tend to spend most of their time rushing about and this includes eating. Of course, it stands to reason that those who eat to fast also often end up eating too much.

Another pitfall which these people are prone to is mess and an untidy environment and I’m sure we all agree, having lots of mess laying about nearly always results in some level of stress. Yes, I’m sure this is starting to become clearer now, that being organized, goes hand in hand with being healthy.
Being unorganized is without a doubt, a key factor which causes stress, and for millions of people who feel stressed, reaching for something to eat is the first thing that comes to mind.
Another huge benefit of maintain a well organized life, is that for the most part, you’ll have healthy foods stored in your home which in turn means that you’ll not be as likely to eat those quick instant meals that you simply pop into the microwave for a few minutes.
Being organized will also help you to eat at regular times throughout the day and by being regular with your eating it will help you to lose weight and maintain more consistent blood sugar levels that will reduce the chance of you getting into low blood sugar and over eating to compensate.
Take time out to plan your meals ahead of time so that you always have everything you need at hand. This is the only way to ensure that your meals remain nutritious rather than filling yourself up with junk foods.
For as far back as one can remember, people have been making up a shopping list before going for their groceries and in all honesty, there is no need for you to be any different. Having a list ready when you go shopping will minimize the chances of you stocking up on easy ready made meals and instead, you’ll find yourself going home with proper healthy foods.
For anyone on a weight loss program, being organized is of paramount importance. Not only will it help you maintain a healthy balanced diet, but it will also save you a considerable amount of time. Having planned your meals ahead means you won’t need to spend hours everyday worrying about what you’ll be having for your next meal and this on it’s own, can reduce stress even further.
